I believe all lego pieces for toys for kids are well made and this is no exception. The 10 year old I gave it to was very happy to get it and I could see his eyes light up. I also believe this is an educational learning tool to help these little kids learn how to read directions and organize their thoughts.

It's a great pack the minifigure are great and detailed and the speeder is wonderful the gun is greatly designed my one compliant is the stud shooters there just so ungainly and they are so loosable please Lego give us back are normal guns

This set gives the rebels two builds, compared to the Imperials who got one. One rebel soldier can man a mounted turret (left) and defend the line against the Death Troopers. Another rebel could hop on that slick speeder (right) and take the battle to the Empire. I particularly like that speeder bike. It's something unique that if you had multiples, it would fit well in a battle scene.

I am pleased with this set. The rebels are very diverse and are great for army building, and the two models included are of high quality as well. The price is right too, and thus I definitely recommend this set.
