I write this review through the eyes of my almost 6yo daughter. Now that she built few small/medium sets, she easily put the taun-taun together while I was assembling the AT-AT. This micro-fighter is a great set to build together, talk about the story behind the set, and play together. 200+ pieces with 2 minifigures with the trademark rights is definitely a bargain. The quality is great. If I were to find something to do better for the next version (in few years from now), would be to try to articulate the legs of the taun-taun so the one playing with the AT-AT can chase the other playing with the Taun-taun. In any case, it is one of the best Star Wars made recently and allows for introducing the saga to the next generation.

I did a big Microfighters stream at the end of last year, and the sets were definitely hit or miss. I think these two are squarely on the 'hit' side, with some nice designs that were fun to build. Sadly the set was held back a bit by the drab color scheme and the bad minifigure printing on the helmet. But if you're a fan of the source material, or looking for a $20 parts pack in grey, you won't be disappointed here.

75298 AT-AT vs Tauntaun Microfighters is a fantastic addition to the LEGO Star Wars line-up. Both models look great and are fantastic micro-renditions of their larger subjects, and they're also a pleasure to build, as despite them coming together fairly quickly, they both exhibit a great use of parts.

Whereas the majority of Microfighter twin packs have contained one outstanding model and another which is less appealing, 75298 AT-AT vs. Tauntaun Microfighters provides two lovely creations! The new AT-AT features many improvements when compared with its predecessor and the accompanying Tauntaun is delightful, integrating recognisable features and matching other Microfighters in style.
