Bought this for my 8 year nephew who's mad about the Lego Star Wars kits. Built it himself with no help [and no trouble] and loves it. I must say.....I'm quite jealous and might buy one for myself :)

I normally just buy bigger style sets like Star wars ucs models. This is the first sub £100 set I have bought for myself for a long time. There was something about the style that made me want it I'm so glad I bought this set. It looks fantastic on display next to my ucs sets. I actually like the black stand as again makes it feel more ucs like then play set The build will also keep you on your toes which I think is a positive as it makes it more exciting Overall this set looks amazing on display and I'm so glad I bought it. Would be great if Lego are able to get more of these cheaper line sets but that have that display element to them as well If you are a fan of the original trilogy you are most likely a fan of this vehicle and I'd say that if you fit that category it's a must!

Overall, 75532 Scout Trooper & Speeder Bike is a nice enough build, and for those for who the stand is not an issue, it is easily the best option in the buildable figure line. The price may seem a bit high, but at the same time, there's a lot of plastic there. The trooper's head alone feels quite substantial. A discount would make this an especially compelling purchase for fans of the Speeder Bike or buildable figures.

75532 is a neat set, especially because it forges new ground for LEGO Star Wars with a Constraction vehicle. Movie-accurate, recognizable, and fun to swoosh, the Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike offers a good time on display or in the hand of the builder. Sparse play features and some minor size issues seem mostly insignificant compared to the set's virtues, including its wealth of reddish brown Technic elements.

I have been very much looking forward to the release of 75532 Scout Trooper & Speeder Bike and it does not disappoint! The bike is extraordinarily detailed and looks brilliant when compared with the source material, as does its armoured rider. I love the design of the helmet and the lightweight armour has been rendered very nicely. Not only is it faithful to the design of the troopers in Return of the Jedi but the absence of substantial armoured sections also permits a very satisfying range of motion at every joint.
