Recommendation: yes 9 / 10 by WhiteFang

I enjoyed this set very much, even though it contains less combat and weapons, but the overall beauty lies in the incredible ostriches. I supposed most of us will be grabbing a few sets, mainly just for the ostriches. Other than that, the unique minifigures and parts are another great reason for you to get one too. Do get this set, even if you are not a Prince of Persia fan. It's definitely worth getting it. I don't think we will see ostriches appearing in any other sets so soon.

I have to say, the set as a whole looks amazing! With three components, three minifigs and four animals, how could not be? It'll keep children entertained for hours.

I never expected LEGO to have ostriches, so this set is a nice addition to my collection. The building technique for the opening gates is simple yet really clever. However, it would have been better had each gate been longer (each gate is 1x6 long, but would have been better with 1x8 plates), because its hinge takes up too much space. $[...] is a bit too expensive, but get this set before it becomes more expensive when it's retired.

I was very bored. I wouldn't buy this unless I was really desperate or in need of ostriches and Prince of Persia minifigs.
