My 13 year old is a big Lego fan. He collects all kinds of sets and enjoyed this one even though he's a bit past the age range listed for this particular build. Pachycephalosaurus was always one of his favorite dinosaurs, and since some paleontologists believe Stygimoloch could be a juvenile Pachycephalosaurus, my son was pretty happy to add this one to his collection. It only took him 10 minutes or so to put the set together. It comes with some interesting pieces, like the dinosaur eggs, the tranquilizer gun, and everyone's favorite evil scientist, Dr. Wu. Overall a nice little set with some fun details, great for a kid who likes dinos and Lego.

I had been eyeing this set for the dino, not caring much for the build but after I was done building, I realized that the build is one of the strongest parts of the set. Unlike 75931 and many other sets before it, this actually feels complete, due to the uniformity of the build. The paddock for the dino is closed off (which is uncommon) and the research lab, while minimal, still provides enough play experience. The features such as the break away walls and opening gate are also welcome. The price to part ratio is a little high but thats expected from any set with large pre-molded parts. Even if you don't like the jurassic movies I'd still recommend checking this set out.

In all, 75927 Stygimoloch Breakout is a solid set within the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom line that benefits from a design that skilfully sidesteps the issue of the increased price-per-piece ratio.

In the Stygimloch Breakout, the gate can lift to open the enclosed secure pen, and the Stygimoloch can jump through the break away glass window and run free, knocking over the eggs in the lab.

I really like Stygimoloch Breakout in terms of design, figurines, and fun factor. But, when looking at what you are actually getting, this set is fairly expensive. You are paying $0.18 per brick ($0.06 above the average for the last catalog), and you don't get a lot of build time for that price. Overall, I do still recommend this set, but I also suggest waiting for the next 20% off sale at Toys R Us. At that price ($32), the entertainment score would go up to 70% and the value up to 80%. With those improvements, I would rate this set at 84%, and worth the price.

I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. The build looks good, but the minifigures are rather dull. I'd say even 75926 Pteranodon Chase has a better minifigure selection since it is cheaper and has Owen. Playability is just okay, since there's not a whole lot of room to move the Stygimoloch around and I think this feels a little cramp for a playset.

For builders looking for lots of unique parts to integrate into their own custom creations, you won't find too much beyond large panels and fence pieces. But with plenty of play features, two solid minifigures, and a fantastic new dinosaur, 75927 Stygimoloch Breakout has a lot to offer both adult collectors and younger builders.

I am impressed by the stickers included with this set. Most of them have the scope to be used in other contexts, without modification. There are electricity warning signs to attach to the electric fence; a generic access code/ key panel ready to attach to the door of the lab; some dinosaur specific information to make the desktop computer more useful; a farming light/striped pattern to put on the sliding gate, to warn passers by to mind their heads. There are dark bluish gray patterned stickers to give the feeling of textured metal and my favourite, the calendar.

75927 Stygimoloch Breakout is among my favourite Jurassic World sets. The new Stygimoloch looks magnificent, including excellent moulded detail and intricate printing on almost every available surface as well as reasonable articulation. The minifigures are also very impressive and I think two figures are enough for a set of this size, although a second InGen scientist would have been a welcome addition.
