Recommendation: no 3 / 5 by Vaderfan2187

Nope… not very convinced. The figures are okay – though Superman and another version of Zod are in a cheaper set. The builds themselves… eh. Escape pod looks alright but lacks playability, while the Black Zero ship section itself is just uninteresting and ugly.

Recommendation: no 2.5 / 5 by Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

Honestly, I think it's a bit underwhelming. Let me rephrase that. It's very underwhelming. The Black Zero section looks nothing like the one in the Man of Steel movie. The flick-fire missiles were completely unnecessary but LEGO had to include them in their action sets. The escape pod is a little bit better but not much. Also, Faora would have been a better suited minifigure to be included since she was the one in the movie scene, not General Zod.

This set is average, at best. Sure, you get Lois Lane. Yes, the escape pod is done well (even if strangely). But the rest of the set doesn't fit, the rest of the figures don't belong, and there's not a lot of parts utility in the set itself.
