Overall I was happy to purchase this set. It comes with a lot of cool pieces, which for me was part of the draw card as I am just starting to collect again. The playability is really cool too.
This is a really nice set and a definite recommendation. Since it's not on Lego.com now, this set is probably available until it sells out. I'm glad I got it. It works as an Indy vignette, and as an Egyptian set. I'm thinking now about buying a second one just to make some Egyptian tomb out of it. Consider me satisfied.
There's quite a bit of play value in this set ... there's a trough at the top which contains all of the snakes and when Indy gets near the treasure, they can be released, showering everyone with snakes.
In the end this is a charming set and could easily fit in with the adventurers! It has the cool Anubis statues as well as the Ark. Plus Indy, Marion and a skellie, great selection of figs but Sallah would have been better since he actually removes the ark with Indy.
