My kids love anything to do with Harry Potter and really enjoy lego sets, so this combination was a beautiful relationship!! This set is super cute and they loved all the little accessories and fun pieces! It was easy to put together and they enjoy playing with it!!! After the fun Wears out it will go on display with a their Harry Potter items!
In the end, Herbology Class fares marginally better than Transfiguration Class. In terms of design, this one feels more complete and has more substance. However, it still relies too heavily on stickers and not enough on building. The set needs more bricks for the price point.
Although the LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Moments: Herbology Class (76384) doesn't look like it has much going on with it, the whole thing is actually really nicely designed.
Could they have just done classroom-themed playsets, without the need for them being in book form? Most certainly, but I don't think they would be as interesting. Conforming each set to a similar build style offers a uniform feel and a nice sub-collection of sets. The number of Minifigures included in each set is perfect for the size of them and I also like they offer something new for some characters.
76834 Hogwarts Moment: Herbology Class has exceeded my expectations, especially after building 76382 Hogwarts Moment: Transfiguration Class which I found slightly disappointing. This model makes better use of the limited space available in my view and the stickers seem more appropriate as well, given the internal area occupied by the greenhouse.
