The JSHBR is an amazing set, both cheap and fun. It has a great level of playability, adding an extra minfigure where there would usually only be one [...], and the overall design is very nice. The starfighter is well built, with cool wings, effective landing gear, and a good looking cockpit. The ring itself is pretty good too, besides the fact that it's a skeleton of technic pieces with some cool plates on top and two flickfire missiles.
This is a well built and stable Lego set for display. I have not tried, but would guess it is pretty solid for play as well, if purchasing this for a child. It did not include the numbered bags as most modern Lego sets, but was still fun and relatively easy to build after dumping and sorting all the pieces. The hyperdrive ring will hold other Jedi Interceptors with no issues for display, but the other sets do not have the "locking" mounts to hold it the other Jedi Interceptors in place for play. Definitely a good Lego set for a collector or a little one if you can find it at a cheaper price.
