I love this set, I missed the first one, and this one is great, but it could be better.

If you children like LEGO, than they will like this. My 8 year put this together in 2 hrs. without any help and then took all his other Star Wars LEGO toys and had a battle. Held up very well and has some neat features to it.

If you can find a used one now for the original price, it might be worth picking one up, but I wouldn't spend any more than that. If you decide you really need an AT-TE, I'd Bricklink the parts if I were you; forget the figures, and spend the difference on some extra plates to fill those gaps.

Recommendation: no 33 / 50 by John

The value for money for this one is a bit of a mixed bag. For a new set, you can expect to pay an extra $100 – so around $240, but a used set will be a fraction over $100 in total. There's nothing really noteworthy in this set for collectibility, so unless you're wanting to get some of the more varied Star Wars characters, you might steer clear of this one. Sure, it's a big set that would look good on a shelf, but that's most likely your only factor.
