This was a really fun Lego to put together with my son. Enjoy almost all of the Star Wars Lego series that I have put together over the years, but this one was nice because it wasn't just the main ship, you also get a smaller vehicle and some enemies for the kids to play with. Some of the earlier Jedi Starfighters were very basic and didn't have the details that these ships deserved. This set takes it right up the the level that it should be. I have most of the Jedi ships, and this is one of the better ones. As always you wish there were no stickers involved, but it seems a fact of life with the Star Wars collection. The mini figures were also detailed and more rare than most sets available.
I think the minifigures are okay. I like the Tactical Droid but the rest of the figures aren't that good. The builds are decent – the STAPs work, the speeder bike is alright, and the Starfighter has some nice parts to it – but they're just not very exciting. The color scheme of the Starfighter is also particularly bland.
All in all a fine set, but it's mostly interesting because of the Tactical Droid and the fact that they named it SE - "SPECIAL EDITION".
Overall it's a pretty good set with lots of playability and some cool ships for a decent value. If you're into Clone Wars, I'd recommend picking one up.
