Nothing is perfect, and when you first see 8376 you might expect it have a suspension system. Sadly it doesn't have one, and that will disappoint some builders. Also, as mentioned before, the structure is very simple – if you're looking for a challenging build, Hot Flame probably isn't the set for you.
I seemed a bit disappointed with the set. It was smaller than I expected, the stunt models didn't work well at all, and it does not have the AUX output on the RC unit! But, it is the cheapest of the three Lego RC Racers sets. And, the price difference between a NEW one of these and buying all of the RC components on bricklink, it is about the same amount. So, I would say, if you can find a good deal in eBay for this set, grab it.
