My only complaint really is that the colour matching of the stickers is awful and has clearly not been done to the company's usual high standard. Other than that, they are neat collectables and make much better souvenirs than the usual tat sold in tourist gift shops in the cities.
When the LEGO store opened in London's Leicester Square, I thought it needed some sort of touristy things to sell alongside normal LEGO products and these sort of small sets are perfect for that. I welcome the option to buy them online as it certainly saves on any airfare, not that people will be travelling much nowadays. As a build, they won't take you long to put together, but the end result is rather nice looking. Despite being built with minimal elements, you can tell what each magnet is meant to represent. They certainly look nice alongside the London Bus and Eiffel Tower magnets.
As much as I love these series of LEGO magnets, the stickers were a hassle to apply which is why the printed element route should have been a lot more welcoming.
These magnet sets caters to a very niche market, particularly the ones that travel. If you've been to these cities, they're good souvenirs to have hanging on the fridge but the price is a little high for them. If they were half the price, then they would be great buys.
