The switch provides basic 'On/Off' functionality. Be aware that the switch only provides full "ON" and "OFF" functionality - if you want to control speed, you will need to use an IR receiver as well as an IR controller.

This is a must-have with the Power Functions setup. The switch works nicely and can be fairly easily attached. Also, the cable is a nice length and can be increase your span from the battery box.
