My 8-year-old had a blast assembling this set. It just does not get old for him to create something from scratch. Putting the minute pieces as well as the large ones to get it all correct and according to instructions was at no point a chore. Even getting the tires onto the rims was important and my help was soundly rejected. And in the end you get a very versatile toy out of this set. It is a vehicle that can flip over and run just as well upside down with the cockpit cleverly swiveling to match the vehicle's position. You have an action piece that turns this toy into an attack mode with the elongated pieces sticking out. And don't forget the gun in front. The quality of pieces leaves nothing to be desired.
Just a reminder, this set cost $40.00 USD, and maybe that's normal for a set like this - I can't say for sure. If I am to be completely honest though, I'm not quite sure the set is worth the whole $40. No doubt though, this is a decent Ninjago set, with some cool minifigs and a great color scheme. If you're a builder, you may like the set even more. All-in-all, I have to say give it a buy if you're into the theme or you like how it looks.
