The "Ultimate" in the book's title is well earned. And if you're into Star Wars, LEGO, and the intersection of the two, do yourself a favor and get this book. I can tell you quite confidently I'll be pulling my autographed copy off the shelf for reference and inspiration for years to come.

My daughter and I have a a good collection of Star Wars and we tend to purchase big lots of Lego from estates that we then try to assemble. This IS the best book I have come across. It is up to date with all models ever made all the way up to 2017. All the models are listed with model number, organized by type and easy to find. What is very impressive is the catalogue of mini-figures listed in this book. I did also not expect it to be this large, but it does allow for nice full color pictures. Definitely the best early father's day gift I could expect :).

The LEGO Star Wars theme is often credited with bringing AFOLs back to LEGO and Ultimate LEGO Star Wars is the perfect way to celebrate it. The information it contains is extensive and the layout it easy to follow, although aimed more towards to the older LEGO fan. It's also great that bespoke images are used in favour of stock images, they just make it feel as if more effort has been gone to when images are specificity taken. If you find buying gifts for your LEGO loving friends a little tricky, this would make the perfect present, in fact for both LEGO and Star Wars fans alike would love to add this to their collection.
