Recommendation: yes 5 / 5 by Tommy

Needless to say I am thoroughly impressed with this book, I highly recommend it to both young and old, new and experienced. The renders and graphics alone are worth it. Add in the instructions, design, layout and everything else, you'd have to have a really good reason NOT to get this book.

This is a very cool book, and for mpre than just the LEGO Amazing Vehicles. There are several pages of building basics and advanced building techniques. The authors skillfully show you that 1×1 round bricks and 1×1 round plates can be virtually anything; tailpipes, shocks, springs, mirrors, seats, etc. You just have to use your imagination!

Seasoned LEGO builders who are used to working with SNOT techniques won't find anything new here, but for someone who is just getting into using more advanced building techniques, there's a lot to learn here. This book would have been a goldmine if I'd had it when I was a teenage builder.

The book itself is also a work of art. Mattia Zamboni is the graphic artist behind its design and 3d renders. The renderings in particular are incredible. The individual parts are modeled down to the minutest details, e.g. the tyres have writing on their sides; and the edges of every part is slightly rounded off to avoid any unnatural sharpness.
