We got this set as a gift and were hesitat to keep it because of the “specialty" pieces in the set vs. it being a set with traditional windows, doors, etc. However, upon opening, my daughter and my niece loved it! They are both 2 and a few months, and they love the “frosting" and “ice cream" pieces especially, and even make “people" out of them by stacking them up. They have quite the imagination and I am glad this set promotes their creativity!

My 3-year-old son loves this cake and ice cream set. He already had a Duplo ice cream cone, cupcakes, and popsicles and loves them, so this really added to his make-believe enjoyment. He shouted "hurray!!!" when he got it :) He makes different cake concoctions and brings them to his little brother and others. With another candle from another set we will be able to sing him happy birthday with this cake when he turns four, alongside the real cake.
