These Lego brick animals are for ages 1 1/2 to 3 years. This set is considered a Preschool building toy that helps develop fine motor skills. There are 34 pieces in the sturdy plastic storage container. Once assembled, the elephant has a trunk that moves, the giraffe's neck has movement, the lion's and crocodile's mouths open. My 18-month-old granddaughter needed help during assembly, which was fun for us, but by 3, she'll be able to do the construction herself. This is a very cute toy set and appears to be indestructible at my granddaughter's age.
