This was purchasd for a young relative who is very taken with Lego Architecture sets. We try to give him one from every place we visit. This set was one of a few options from London, and it had the highest rating, which is why we selected this particular model. I am sure it will be enjoyed when birthday-time rolls around.

This architecture set us amazing. While you are building it, it takes you to the time you visit London. I always say that every city architecture set is a great souvenir. The only thing i recomend to LEGO is that the London Eye should spin.

This is a really nice set for any LEGO fan who lives in London, is a fan of London, or just appreciates good design. The instruction booklet's photographs and information will be really fun for history and architecture buffs to pore over, but we think that younger LEGO builders will also enjoy reading and discovering fun facts about the city of London.

Recommendation: yes 9 / 10 by Rusty

I have to admit LEGO Architecture London Skyline 21034 has been a great start and introduction into the Architecture theme and more specifically the Skyline subtheme. I enjoyed the build and the final set is slick, modern and would look great on display for all to admire. I can see this being popular with not only LEGO fans, but as a more sophisticated souvenir when visiting London. Only negative is the London Eye use of light blueish grey Technic pin that sadly does distract from what is otherwise a ingenious design.

This is definitely one of my favorite straight-out-of-the-box sets. Lots to enjoy and admire. Well designed, aesthetically beautiful, and a fun building experience.

A nice LEGO Architecture set, continuing an interesting sub-theme. Some minor flaws that won't decourage the Architecture's fans to get this set!

This model includes five very recognizable landmarks from London, and they look great put together. I also appreciated that the back looks reasonable. The fun facts throughout the instructions, fairly rare pieces, and a decent price per parts ratio are also great. The colors for all of the buildings were well chosen, and I feel they reflect the actual buildings fairly accurately. That said, the river bothers me a little. With transparent tiles on top of black plates, it doesn't look like much of a river, just dirty water. I would have preferred if they used transparent blue tiles, or a different color plate underneath to make it appear more like water. However, adding the river is appropriate since three of the buildings are on the Thames River. The other negatives is the scale of the buildings compared to each other isn't very accurate, and the gray connectors used on the London Eye.

The completed build is really very attractive with nice details, aesthetic colour palate used and a good selection of London landmarks. The Medium blue as a highlight colour on Tower Bridge really makes this model stand out. The only slight negative for me is London Eye; I feel the 3mm rods do not quite form a sphere without the support from a further ‘spoke in the wheel'.

As a fan of LEGO Architecture who has lived in London for over two decades, my expectations were high. My first look at the box filled me with more excitement as the way these landmarks are arranged is a really beautiful design. On closer inspection I felt disappointed as it seemed the build was less complex and more "tourist souvenir" than the earlier Skylines sets. Then, upon building it, I was struck more than anything by the wide and original range of techniques and styles offered in the set.

This is a great model of a great city and it is pretty much perfect. I have just one complaint: I find the the grey Technic pin used to join the tubes at the top of the London Eye a bit jarring: I know it is a colour-locked part but it would have looked so much better if it was white.
