My wife and I have put three of the Architecture kits together. This one was the most enjoyable and most interesting. The Louvre was a close second. Possibly some of the additional cost comes from licensing the design from the FLW Foundation?

Not sure why this wasn't pre-date sale to members pre-April 1. Went to toysrus and got it 3/30. Really really nice set, very classy, especially for adult builders, great addition to my 20+ arch. collection. Hope you bring back others you have retired a couple of years back.

I really enjoyed building this set! I think it may be one of the best set of the recently released Architecture sets. If you're a fan of the theme, go grab it, you won't regret it.

The updated LEGO Architecture Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (21035) has 500+ more pieces that it's predecessor and not surprisingly, it has a lot more accurate details than the previous version. The building process of it was fun and engaging especially with all the interesting building techniques involved although I wish I didn't dump every bag into a single pile.

This is an outstanding model of a beautiful building and is without doubt one of the best Architecture sets LEGO has released. The curved and non-symmetrical nature of the building has resulted in a model that's packed with interesting building techniques with very little repetition in the construction process, something that can often be an issue with Architecture models.

With an enjoyable build that results in a very pleasing finished structure, I can heartily recommend this set for both longtime LEGO Architecture fans and LEGO builders more broadly.

I think this is my favourite LEGO Architecture set since 21018 United Nations Headquarters. If I were to put that down to one thing it would be the sheer variety of interplaying forms that you need to create along the way. It never gets dull, aside of course from the stretch of Brick Yellow 1x1 tiles. This variety is reflected in the inventory, with its mix of categories and sizes of parts.
