Very easy to assemble. My 6 yr old who is just learning to do LEGO sets completed it quickly by herself. My only complaint is it's small. If it was a little bigger I would have liked it more.

While I think the colour scheme is a bit disjointed, I'm not the target demographic. On the other hand, I think the 8-10 year old me would have loved the colour scheme and the entire box. It's the perfect size to store all kinds of little things - jewelry, stickers - even some small pieces of LEGO!

Overall the LEGO Friends Keepsake Box (40266) is an okay set. If you've collected some of the other Friends accessory products, this is a good complement to them. It looks like this is this a popular promotion on Shop@Home since it has been replaced with a previous Friends promotion. Your best chance to get it is at LEGO Brand Stores and on the secondary market.
