This was a fun seasonal set. It's a quick build for an experienced LEGO user, but I enjoyed it and it would probably be just right for a kid's Easter basket. The rabbit's little ears and head move--we've been posing it just like our actual bunny. I'm glad I picked it up!
The best thing about the Easter Bunny set is the price. You get a great value brick box with some interesting pieces. However, I have no use for these cutesy, seasonal sets. They do not appeal to me.
It's a bright, colourful and charming model that will be appreciated by aficionados of seasonal sets and lovers of leporidae alike. In fact, it's the best rabbit LEGO has ever produced, so will be especially cherished by the latter. It'll also make the perfect Easter gift for youngsters who would otherwise receive too much chocolate!
Overall, I really like the look of the new LEGO Seasonal Easter Bunny (40463). The realistic appearance of it is a nice change from the usual cartoony style of the previous seasonal builds from years past. I also like how LEGO threw in Easter eggs within the build, mainly the carrot in the display, which is a continued style from the Valentine Bear. Hopefully LEGO will continue this realistic style of build with the seasonal sets for the rest of the year.
The cartooney takes on rabbits are great, but I must admit this more realistic style build has resulted in one of my favourite Easter sets and in fact seasonal sets in recent years. I also like the continued style from Valentine's set, so I hope upcoming seasonal sets for Halloween and beyond, also follow the same style.
