Lego blocks have always been a hit in our house. I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and she loves them. Once she builds a set and plays with them for a while she will "build her imagination" into different creations over and over.Hours of fun to be had by all. Plus they have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. Sometimes I build them so I can build with them too.

This set is absolutely amazing! Zonya is gorgeous! She can move her head, neck, feet, legs, wings and tail. She is a little smaller than Gust the wind dragon, but larger than Sapphire, Merina, and Thorne. The cave has a sliding feature with moss beds in it. This set comes with Emily and Azari.

This is a fun LEGO Elves set that offers both construction and imaginative play. Once built, kids can pretend to enter the Lava Cave with the use of Azari's magic fire powers, discover the secret map, fly off for an adventure on Zonya's back, and more.

The dragon has grown on me. I will aim to brick build a head some day. The selection of parts is fantastic for crafting a magical rocky landscape – you would need to extend your parts to be able to create a good tree.

Dragons and caves with Lava, oh my, I didn't think I would enjoy this set as much as I am. The Dragon design, pieces, articulation, pose-ability, sturdiness, colors, markings and obvious personality are winning! The cave is something that can be built upon and the techniques are clever, whimsical, and pack so much interaction in a medium LEGO set.

The Shadow Fountain is great and I love the premise of turning poisoned water to pure water, and the lava cave, with its sliding mechanism and details of crystal rockfalls and toadstools are great. I really like how the Elves sets tie into an overall story, and this set offers lots of opportunity to reenact that story plus encourage children to make up stories of their own.

As the second-largest set of the spring 2016 Elves wave, the Fire Dragon's Lava Cave doesn't disappoint. Zonya the Fire Dragon is, I'd argue, one of the most impressive LEGO dragons we've ever had, with an amazing build and loads of personality. And while it'd be easy to dismiss the other scenery and landscaping of this set as filler, it actually turns out to be quite impressive, offering multiple play scenarios and foreshadowing the darker, spookier mood of this summer's Elves sets. Ultimately, while this set may be filled with fantastic parts, once you've put it together it might be hard to convince yourself to take it back apart!
