We recently changed my sons room to a super hero theme and the main components are lego batman so we have this on the shelf and its perfect and love that the eyes glow!
Had fun building bats all tho I was struggling on his cape putting it on so I left a picture for those who have the same problem as me lol overall it's nice piece and will go perfect with my collection
Overall, 41585 Batman is a great way to kick off the BrickHeadz theme. He's more of a basic character in terms of design, but he's a crowd pleaser and will surely sell like hotcakes.
These have collectibility written all over them. With what looks to be multiple series planned, a huge range of characters to choose from in the future, and plenty of people being inspired by them to create their own characters, I would recommend getting in quick to snap up a set of the first series. I see big things for these little characters.
The build is simple enough, but given this is Batman the colour palette and detail is quite plain. Not an issue with LEGO, but Batman is the least exciting build and model of the DC Comic Brickheadz lineup. There are some highlights such as his nice detailed utility belt and logo. He also has some cool glow in the dark eyes which worked surprisingly well even in semi dark rooms. LEGO has come a long way with its glow in the dark plastic pieces over the years. The final model has a nice solid feel and was smaller and more compatt than I thought – not a bad thing.
Batman includes a small, brick-built cape. It's removable, leaving just a row of four exposed studs, perfect. You'll get five unprinted black 2×4 tiles, and two of the new 2×3 tiles.
The best BrickHeadz sets are often the most brightly coloured or unusual and this figure was not therefore among those I was most excited about. However, it has proven to be a pleasant surprise as the simple designs of the cowl and belt are very effective, as are the glowing eyes!
41584 Batman is unfortunately one of the less attractive figures in terms of interesting parts and recolours given he is mostly Black, which is the second-most common colour for all LEGO elements ever produced. His two exclusive printed elements are Bright Yellow [TLG]/Yellow [BL] 1x4 tile with utility belt detail (6188702) and a 1x4 brick in Black with yellow Batman logo (6188640).
