It's been a long time since I've built a Lego kit of any kind but I have to say, it was extremely satisfying ripping open on the cardboard container and seeing all the intricate parts shaking freely in plastic bags. The kit is separated into two plastic bags. One contains major kit pieces and the other contains connectors. This makes sorting through the various parts much easier. The completed kit has great detail with very nice color separation and even includes a pack of foil stickers to give it so extra flare. The kit built itself seems like it might be slightly too complex for children but Lego has done a fantastic job with the instruction manual that even young children can tackle this with relative ease with some adult supervision. You don't have to be a child to enjoy this kit though. Grab a beer, sit back, relax and get ready to board the nostalgia train.Don'tI was instantly teleported to my childhood.
I would have to say overall this is a fun little build and actually as a finished model does a great job of resembling an F1 race car. I especially like the use of the two flexible axles to create the contour of the race car so nicely. It's also a great representation of a race car from a set containing only 136-pieces.
