A soon to be Christmas gift for a 10 year old boy. He is very into the normal Lego sets and I thought this might be a little more challenging for him. With all it's moving parts, it should be better to play with than the standard building sets. It has two different building options to create a second vehicle so it does offer the builder different challenges.

I decided to purchase this as its retiring soon, a real shame in my opinion. A really nice build and the colour scheme really looks the part. Also a surprisingly large model for the price. If you like Technic get this before it disappears!

It's an interesting vehicle which, unlike many small Technic sets these days, packs in a good amount of technical functionality. So, as well as pleasing Technic old-hands like myself, it's a great introduction to the theme for budding engineers.
