Rescue Helicopter

Unfortunately the directions were vage and when i almost had it put together i realize that im missina a piece. I had just opened it this morning and kept all my pieces together so until i get that piece i guess it will sit on the shelf more less

I bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter.. She's good with Lego, so I wanted to see how she did with the Technic brand of Lego.. She started out strong, then it became a bit confusing for her.. The Technic Lego has you building parts then putting them together, so for a young person it can get a bit confusing, but we finished it.. more less

I wasn't expecting much of this set, but it looks really nice for such a small helicopter. It has some playability and the opening rear doors are a cool addition. When I noticed the doors could open, I expected to be able to stow the life-bed (stretcher). Unfortunately this is not the case. more less

Overall this set is an improvement over 2011's 8068 Rescue Helicopter. It may be slightly smaller in both size and piece count, but the finished look is more complete. Some great play features and a sleek design makes this a decent model for both play and display. more less

It's a perfectly serviceable model but it's let down by a crude rotor turning control. An accessory for the winch to hoist is welcome but it would have been nice to be able to put inside the craft once it's been lifted. It's by no means an essential purchase although fans of Technic helicopters like myself will be happy to add it to their collection. more less

The knob to make the rotors turn is easy to use (as long as you are in flight). The winch is also comfortably located with the knob on the opposite side of the cabin. The doors to the cabin open and so do the doors on the cargo bay. more less
