I urge all of you to go out and buy this set while it's still there. This is really the perfect Batman set currently and I don't forsee any better ones in the near future. All I can do now is to build the Steel Mill around it.

Go get this. Really. Do it. Unless you are really opposed to superheroes or pleasantly bright colors, you can't be disappointed.

I really waited for the better prints on the figures. It kinda disappointed me... But the set is awesome. Every LEGO Batman fan, or just Batman fan should have it.

Recommendation: no 3.6 / 5 from 129 reviews

This set has increased in price over the years, despite being reasonably sized. I feel that it could be worth around $40 nowadays instead of 70, but don't take my word for it. The set itself came in near pristine condition, with slight scratches, but it was seemingly never touched. The pieces were all still in their bags, so this seller is one you can trust. In my opinion, this product is more for kids that are interested in play features, rather than serious and sophisticated builders that seek great sets with value in the build, so if you're on of those people I recommend you save your money or put it towards something of more sophistication.

Buy it! It's hard to find it at MSRP, but at $39.99 it's a must have for any fan of this line. Some recent playsets only feel recognizable due to the minifigs included, but this set goes above and beyond to make it uniquely Batman-themed. Fun play features, decent parts selection, and excellent minifigures. Get one if you can! You won't regret it.
