This is a nice set for any fan of Ninjago or ninjas in general. My son loved the bike but did not care for the flying creature. It seemed like more of a random addition to try and round out the set. The bike was larger than I thought it would be, which was a happy surprise. It was a cool feature to add the pieces that shoot from the bike BUT that leaves parents to pick up tiny gold pieces that the kids cant find. Also, the bike does not balance well. Overall, I would still give it four stars because it is LEGO and my son loves the motorcycle/ninja aspect. Not perfect, but fun nonetheless!
I loved this set! I also love how you get 2 screamers and a mini dragon, regular sets like the Condrai Crusher only give you a vehicle, a character to ride it, and someone to face the vehicle. But in this set you actually get something for the villain and hero. I sorta wish the studs didn't come out so easily and you got ghost cole, but besides that this is a great set!
I think this set is alright. It is a good set at its price point, but doesn't shine very much. If you have a bigger budget, I say go for a larger set.
This set isn't necessarily a bad model, but it feels like too much wasted potential. The Blaster Bike is all about those stud shooters, but I don't think that's enough to make it stand out in the growing fleet of Ninjago vehicles. While this set is the cheapest of the summer Ninjago wave, I would recommend investing in one of the more expensive sets which look a lot cooler.
