Unikitty's Sweetest Friends EVER!

My six year old was getting kind of desperate for his own Unikitty, so I bought him this one because I liked all the extras you got with it. Plus I wanted something simple that wasn't going to add too much to our growing Lego problem. It was definitely super easy for him to put together, but I knew that when I bought it. The LEGO set "Unikitty's Sweetest Friends EVER!" #70822 has 76 pieces and all new prints for the mini figures as well as new elements. Unikitty has two new fun expressions that are interchangeable. She is joined with her friends Ice Cream Cone and Chocolate Bar. The Ice Cream Cone figure has all printed pieces and is very colorful and a fun mini figure. Chocolate Bar is a very tasty looking mini figure that looks like someone has had a little nibble already. The set has a yummy cart with all sorts of treats. This is a very fun set that is a easy build and has loads of playability for all. The set is great as a stand alone as well as adding to The LEGO Movie 2 world collection. This LEGO set is very reasonable priced for how much you get with all the new prints and pieces. Great Job LEGO Group, I cant wait to see "The LEGO Movie 2" that is coming soon. For a small set, Unikitty's Sweetest Friends EVER (70822) is a fun one. Whether you are collecting characters from the LEGO® Movie 2 or need something to spruce up your MOC sweet shop, this set has something for you. However, the set has limited wider scale appeal. Additionally, the set is a little expensive for what you get at full price. more less

Overall, this is a pretty different set from the norm, but I quite like it! For a low price you get three cute (brick-built) characters. The builds themselves are a bit small but there are a lot of printed bricks in the set which is impressive. This should be fun for younger kids and collectable for older fans. more less

So far these characters (except for Unikitty) are only seen in this set. It might change in coming sets, but I doubt it. If you want to get a great set of new elements, pick this one up. more less

Unusual characters such as those found in 70822 Unikitty's Sweetest Friends EVER! might not appeal to everyone but I am pleased with this set. Ice Cream Cone and Chocolate Bar are interesting and the new pieces found in Ice Cream Cone promise considerable potential, despite being of limited use with these printed designs. more less

It's not a big set and has zero play features, but it more than makes up for it, thanks to its unique parts and characters they create. I like that Unikitty has two expressions and the other printed pieces used, mainly to create Ice Cream Cone. It may not have the widespread appeal that Benny's Space Squad has, but it's still a great set for characters. more less
