A very solid car that looks nice and unique, three brand new minifigs, a new version of the Riddler, and another Batman to add to the pile of Batmans for the rest of the heroes to hide behind… all in a $30 package. If there was ever a set that showed you cannot judge by part count alone, this one certainly is it.
The Riddler Riddle Racers set from the Batman Lego movie series is a very fun project that is easy to assemble and can be completed in about a hour. In addition to the Batman and Riddler mini figures, this kit also includes Magpie, Calendar man and Kiteman villains. The Riddle racer has a number of cool features including missiles. The kit is fun to put together and would be great as a gift. It is a self contained but also goes well with all the other Batman Lego themed sets. That it includes five mini-figures makes it a really great deal.
Inspired by The LEGO Batman Movie, this set offers fans a fun build, interesting characters, and interactive play. The buildable Riddle Racer vehicle has some cool features, which add to the play value. The coolest part of this set though are the five minifigures. With somewhat obscure characters like Kite Man, Calendar Man, and Magpie, fans are sure to want to add this to their collections. Although Batman and the Riddler have appeared in other LEGO sets, the versions in this set have some unique features. Batman wears a molded utility belt, and The Riddler wears his bowler hat, and carries his cane.
70903 boats a perfect ride for the Riddler along with an impressive and hilarious cast of additional figures. Getting all of this for such a reasonable price is the cherry on top.
When I first saw this set I wanted it for the exclusive mini figures. After completing the build I was surprised how much I liked the Riddler Racer! Yes, it is a simple build compared to the other vehicles in this line, but its simple design is what makes me like it. My only complaint is that the Riddler's question mark piece on his cane is a different shade of green than the other greens used in his outfit. For the price and mini figures included, this set is a must have. :)
The set clearly shines more towards the minifigure selection than the car. As I mentioned before, there are five in this set, four of which are exclusive to this set. Although a majority of them are obscure characters, it's nice to have them included. As for the Riddle Racer itself, it's nothing too spectacular. I do like the low-profile sporty look of it however the spring-loaded missile play feature is mediocre at best.
The model itself is pretty unremarkable, lacking in play features, and small for the price, and hence I feel LEGO had to throw in Kite-Man, Calendar Man and Magpie just to make the set seem “worth it". Personally, I think the only reason to get this set would be the minifigures, and the price of admission is too high in my opinion.

While the price of 70903 The Riddler Riddle Racer may be slightly above average, so is the design. You don't have to be a Batman fan to appreciate how great of a LEGO vehicle this awesome race car is, and if you are a Batman fan, getting not one but four exclusive villains in a $30 set is a bargain. Add to that a number of new colors and revivals of rare elements, and we'd say that this is a set you won't want to miss.
The Riddler's sports car is reasonably simple in relation to some of the other vehicles in The LEGO Batman Movie but it looks brilliant and is consistent with the character of its ostentatious driver. I think the price of £29.99 or $29.99 is reasonable given the number of figures included and I would therefore recommend this set quite highly, although the equally priced 70904 Clayface Splat Attack is also very impressive for entirely different reasons.
