This is a really fun and simple LEGO set. Let's be honest, even as an adult with money to spend as I wish, I have a hard time justifying $500 for the huge Millennium Falcon set. Not to mention the space it would take up. This set is perfect. Easy to build, but still takes enough time to feel worth it. I think the Microfighters line is a LITTLE too expensive for what they are, but not outrageous. I like that they are small but don't look cheap or sloppily put together.
Scored this from a book store on a deal. Wanted it cause I prefer more of the mini-builds for the ships, easier to play with once you mod them to get the minifig sitting area out of the way.
This mini set was a lot of fun to build, the actual main build is simple but its solid once built, it has lots of little add-on's to make it a fun toy to play with. It has some fun little parts that could be useful for other builds from your imagination. The Chewbacca minifigure is a massive bonus and is a selling point for this set alone, throw in a great little build and its a very worthwhile pickup.
On the whole, I think this is a nice little set. However, microfighters themselves never really have had the best value.
75030 Millennium Falcon is among my favourite Microfighters released since 2014 and I am equally satisfied with the new 75193 Millennium Falcon Microfighter. Many of the original model's most vital features are also present here and the stud shooters are a considerable improvement over flick-fire missiles in my opinion.
