All in all, I think this is not a very good set. The figure selection is good but other than that there's not a lot of things that stand out, and I would have liked more Praetorian Guards. The build itself looks okay and is a decent scaled-down version of the throne room in the movie, but is missing the red backdrop that is a striking feature of the movie throne room (though LEGO did sneak in red below the floor). The playability is quite limited as the floor space is quite small – it feels like 75169 Duel on Naboo where the floor plan limits playability and you're better off taking the figures to play somewhere else.

Considering that this set represents what is probably the most memorable, or at least second most memorable, scene from The Last Jedi, it is lacklustre in design and execution. As a complete set, 75216 Snoke's Throne Room is a wallet-stretching disappointment that rather than capturing the movie magic, offers another slab of grey.

While I certainly don't hate Snoke's Throne Room, the basic building techniques, repeated minifigures, and inaccuracies definitely detract from what could be a much better set. In spite of these flaws, 75216 Snoke's Throne Room does have a number of great play features, and it's rather fun to reenact Kylo Ren's inevitable betrayal of his Dark Side master.

Supreme Leader Snoke's impressive throne room hosts a pivotal scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and I had high expectations for this set. Unfortunately, it is a little disappointing. Most of its functions work well and the minifigures are excellent but certain areas of the model lack detail. Furthermore, I think the designer has focused upon the wrong areas of the throne room as the walls occupy many pieces but serve little purpose. The crimson curtains are of much greater visual importance.
