This intricate set is not only fun for collectors, but kids as well. There are just so may details, real working features and even secret compartments. The details of the characters is just so cool, look at Han Solo's hair or Chewbacca's fur. Plus, the real working top hatch on the transport is just so neat along with its giant doors that slide up to reveal its inner workings.
I'm a bit of a train nerd, as well as a Lego fan, so when this became available as a Lego set, it was a natural yes.Like others have mentioned, for the price you don't get a lot of pieces to mess with, but for their intended purpose, the price is worth it. If you have the funds, I highly recommend purchasing two sets and joining them together, as it adds a nice 'finished' look to it.

Solo: A Star Wars Story was not a typically Force-ful hit at the box office, but the LEGO Group has done impressive work in terms of producing desirable sets based on the film. 75217 Imperial Conveyex Transport is the weakest of the line's larger sets, but that is largely due to being in such amazing company. It is bursting with play potential as well as modding possibilities. Hamstrung only by its high price, this is an easy pickup for those looking to score a good gift or cool project.
I Highly anticipated Lego making this set after seeing the film, especially the range troopers appearing in minifigure form as I already had the range trooper buildable figure and they're probably the most interesting ‘troops' for a while. Though it has to be said, the Solo movie and the Lego Solo movie sets in my opinion have the best range of characters since rogue one! The build while monotonous, was interesting, I think once you're ‘Lego-minded' you pre-empt some parts and make two at the same time, saving time. I actually made two conveyex sets at the same time so I can join them back to back and create more of a scene, so sometimes was making four of the same part! Loved all the side panels and hatches that open, great you can move the gun turrets position too. Of course the genius thing is the range troopers CAN actually walk along the sides as per the film without falling off. The figures, great versions of Han Solo and chewy, both with goggles, decently printed driver with fur over his shoulders and you get two super range troopers complete with furred uniform. The only thing I changed were their guns making the range troopers rifles more like the buildable figures gun. A great set, expensive, but fun to add becket from the cloud riders set and val and Rio with the AT hauler.. awesome!
All in all, this set is a very mixed bag. I like the look of the train cars, but their overall look is very poor and it feels very incomplete without one more cargo train car. The price is also very high – I think that one more car should have been included with this present price tag.
75217 Imperial Conveyex Transport has definitely exceeded my expectations. This set lacks the huge scale of its onscreen counterpart but its shape is excellent and several interesting functions have been incorporated, without spoiling the appearance of the model. The minifigures are equally impressive and I am particularly satisfied with the two new Range Troopers which capture almost every detail of these specialised soldiers from the movie.
One of the things that makes this set disappointing overall is the price point, at $90 for just over 600 pieces. A set with twice as many pieces could have been produced at around the $120 price point that featured two cargo carriages and had more brick-built detail in place of the very large stickers. Frankly, it's hard to recommend this set at full price, despite a quintet of excellent minifigures, a sturdy design, and several fun play features. But if the set were 25% off at around $68 (as it will almost inevitably be in a few months or even weeks on Amazon.com), that would bring it closer to a reasonable price point for a licensed set with 5 unique minifigs.
