The praetorian guard figures alone in this set are great, but it also comes with some pretty fun weapons. Would be a great addition to set 75216. Overall tons of playabilty and is sure to please the First Order.
Considering to re-making the Snoke's Throne Room fight scene? Thankfully the battle packs are here to save you. It is not a perfect set but for the price you pay, I think it gives you more than enough to warrant multiple purchases.
Feel the power of the LEGO Community and Star Wars fans alike. We asked for it and LEGO made it for us! Elite Praetorian Guard™ Battle Pack set# 75229, with 109 pieces. The set comes with three Elite Praetorian Guards, a First Order Stormtroopers, training droid, weapon rack and a training platform. The Praetorian minifigures have new style helmet and weapons. The figures now have minifigure legs in place of the robe style found in the Snoke's Throne Room set #75216. This gives you much more ability to pose your minifigures in more action poses. You can also attach the training platform to the Snoke's Throne Room to expand your play. I picked up two of the battle packs and attached the platforms on each side of the room. The Elite Praetorian Guard™ Battle Pack is a easy build with unlimited playability as a stand alone set and as a expansion to your collection. The price point is very good for what you get in the set. Happy building to everyone.
This set's alright. The figures are pretty good but I don't like the oversized helmets that the two new Praetorian Guards have. The build is pretty weak, playability is okay (the play feature is kinda fun but lame after a while), and the price is mediocre.
75225 Elite Praetorian Guard Battle Pack ticks every box, bringing fans some of the most desirable Star Wars: The Last Jedi characters as minifigures at a low price point. This might go down over time as one of the best battle packs that the LEGO Group has ever produced.
At the end of the day, this is a battle pack filled with unique and desirable minifigures coupled with builds you probably won't need or want. Disappointingly, this set does not complete the Elite Praetorian Guard minifig team. It looks like we will have to wait a little longer before LEGO hopefully decides to release the third guard. The First Order stormtrooper has a new helmet, which might please or annoy collectors intent on building an army.
75225 Elite Praetorian Guard Battle Pack contains a brilliant selection of minifigures and is therefore a successful Battle Pack. The three Elite Praetorian Guards are exceptionally detailed and look fantastic in relation to their onscreen counterparts while the First Order Stormtrooper is a wonderful addition for expanding your First Order army, even though its helmet has been updated slightly.
