I was surprised at the size and how cool it actually looked as I was building it.

Both of these new additions to the Star Wars universe are fun to build and display. Each comes with great NEW mini figures and both launch projectiles. Kids and LEGO fans will love constructing these new members to the Star Wars fleet.

My soon to be 5 year old, who was previously OBSESSED with all things Super-Heroes, has since outgrown them and moved 100% as enthusiastically as can be to Star Wars, even though he's never even seen the movies. He was absolutely delighted to receive this ship and mini-figures, and together we built it over the course of a few days. The features, piece work, and attention to detail in this set is absolutely unparalleled, but with instructions that are still very easy to interpret and understand, even for a 5 year old. The very best part is the amount of imaginative play that we've gotten out of this ship. He plays with this, and the figures, for up to an hour at a time. He takes it outside and soars it around the house, or plays "missions" with a neighborhood friend. For us, LEGO really has outdone itself with this kit, and we've found our very favorite one in this Black Ace.
