This set is a lot of fun to put together and play with. As with most Lego designs, when they come back they are improved. This one has the "new" launchers and guns for the snowspeeder. The color is grey vs. some orange, because it is first order vs. Old Empire style. It does include more details then the older models (except the UCS model, which is not very playable and much more expensive). The older models also were more brittle then this one. It will take an average Lego assembler 20-30 minutes to put together, but after that the true fun can start especially if you have an AT-AT walker. The Snowspeeder does come with a hook to rope up the AT-AT's legs. As a bonus, you get Lando as the 20th anniversary edition item. This one will likely be a valuable for the collector of minifigs.

I don't have a Snowspeeder from recent years. As such, I enjoyed the building process with this model, as well as the minifigures. The Lando minifigure is a great addition to the expanding collection of anniversary figures on my shelf.

I very much enjoyed this set, and its celebration of 20 years of lego star wars. Overall the build was fun and having the collectible Lando is definitely a plus. I do feel it was a little steep in price but that may also be due to the fact that its a 20th anniversary set. Overall tho, I would recommend this set to anyone who has enjoyed lego star wars over the years and would like to re experience the joy that it brought them.

Overall, the LEGO Star Wars Snowspeeder – 20th Anniversary Edition (75259) is a decent set with a good selection of minifigures. The Snowspeeder is as accurate as it can get at this scale but there's still some room for improvement. The P-Tower turret is also a good addition. The exclusive Lando Calrissian minifigure is the main draw here as the original one was high sought after.

This remains an accurate model. It includes brilliant detail and closely resembles the vehicle from the movie, despite sharing many design features with past sets. The revised P-tower turret looks great too while the exclusive Lando Calrissian minifigure is outstanding so I would recommend the set to those who do not already own a LEGO Snowspeeder, particularly following a discount.

It's sleek, clever and perfectly sized, offering the perfect snapshot of a battle on Hoth, with a smartly-designed gun tower, three excellently designed and relevant minifigures, plus a bonus Lando Calrissian based on 2003's version that very few of us will have. For what is possible today from the LEGO Star Wars design team, and for what has come in the 20 years before, 75259 Snowspeeder – 20th Anniversary Edition represents strong build, play and financial value.

There are only so many ways that LEGO can re-hash a familiar build yet again and make something different out of it. Having said that, re-issues of the snowspeeder only means that folks who have missed out or have just started their adventures with Star Wars have a chance to own one at retail price. And it's no doubt that adult collectors would most certainly want this with the exclusive minifigure and box art.
