Gift for my Grandson...just because. He had seen it in the store but I waited to purchase it on Amazon.

Recommendation: yes 4.8 / 5 by Nick

This is a great set for both young and old. It's got playability and displayability, and is also a pleasurable build with some great part usage and building techniques. In summary, a great value set with two lovely looking vehicles and minifigures.

This model is perfect for displaying on a table. The set looks excellent, but the stickers can be difficult to apply for younger kids, but the final result is well worth the pain.

These are truly stellar cars, with some great parts at a low price-per-parts ratio. This set is easily my favorite LEGO Speed Champions set since the pair of Porsche 911s (set 75912). Even if you're not into American muscle cars, these are iconic and historic cars worth having in your LEGO collection — I cannot recommend this set more highly.

In an interview for Top Gear, Craig Callum, the design manager for Speed Champions, mentioned that the cars are not just for kids. He gives an example of how they span the generations by including different generations of models in a set that will attract both kids and parents, such as the 75874 Chevrolet Camaro Drag Race and 75881 2016 Ford GT & 1966 Ford GT40. The same pattern is repeated in this year's lineup and I couldn't be more excited about the choice of models, colours and elements used.
