Dilophosaurus on the Loose

Dilophosaurus on the Loose is a good set. In fact, it is surprisingly good for such a small kit. The price is satisfactory. It would not take a big sale to make it even more worth while. The only major downer is the drone that makes up about half the set. The booth is great as are the sticker signs it comes with. Additionally, there is a new torso print that any Jurassic franchise fan will love. Finally, you get a new dilophosaurus that is a little closer to proper size than its predecessors. In the end, the Dilophosaurus on the Loose set is a very good little set that could probably have been a great little set with just a couple of changes: LEGO should have removed the drone, lowered the price by about $10, and if necessary left the Owen figure out as well. more less

As much as I'd love to comment on how cute the set is, I'm really irritated at how the box was shoved into a cheap bubble mailer and crammed into my tiny ass mailbox. It's ruined. I'm really glad I have time to grab something else for the birthday girl, because I can't give her this. The lego inside should be fine, but the box is jacked and that's really lacking when I've had mostly positive Amazon experiences before. more less

All of these sets have great details and moving parts to give fans the opportunity to collect favorite characters and dinosaurs, as well as play out favorite moments from the Jurassic World movies. For kids, especially, these sets will inspire a lot of imaginative play. more less

This is my first Jurassic set, and it doesn't disappoint. Let's talk about the figures first. The Dilo is a great size, and definitely fits the size of the small one in the first film, a lot of the Lego Dilos are around the size they were in the novel, but this figure fits the scale we've seen in the first Jurassic Park. Owen is and old figure and is nothing new but I really like his prints and his hair piece. The kid in the set is from the new Lego Jurassic World cartoon, I haven't watched it but his torso print is sweet. The park worker is okay, nothing to special other than the hair-hat combo. Now onto the build. The little gift stand is a fun little build with a few easter eggs like the one tile being a homage to the steel book for the 5 movie collection. The drone is meh, it's just an excuse for another build in the set, they could have excluded it and made the set $14.99 or they could have used the parts to make a bigger gift stand with play features. All in all, this is a good little set with and awesome dino and great figures and is worth 20 bucks. more less

It's dinosaur may not be as cool as some of those in other sets, but the rest of its content certainly makes up for it. As daft as a rideable dinosaur catching drone is, it's actually a cool little swooshable craft. The use of the Technic steering wheel is rather clever and gives the drone an extra slice of coolness. more less

New dinosaurs are typically the most exciting aspect of Jurassic World sets and 75934 Dilophosaurus on the Loose conforms to that trend in my opinion, despite including an updated version of an existing dinosaur rather than an entirely new one. This figure looks marvellous and I am similarly satisfied with the minifigure selection. Hudson Harper stands out in particular. more less

75934 Dilophosarus on the Loose is one of those great LEGO sets that seems simple but completely takes you by surprise by its excellent design. Two very smart and enjoyable builds that look excellent once finished, plus an exclusive and well designed dinosaur along with three minifigures make this a highly recommended set LEGO Jurassic World fans. more less
