All in all, this is a very tight set that excels from every single angle. Great minifigures, exciting new elements, brick-built elements that accentuate the context of the set – all wrapped up in a pretty affordable package.
Ok, to be honest i only bought this set for the minifigures. I needed a sirius black and more dementors. But this set turned out pretty fun! I love the stag, and this improves my forbidden forest. I only had the willow and Aragogs lair, so this was good. Thanks sis for buying this for me
This set represents an important moment in the Prisoner of Azkaban, and indeed the series of books/films as Harry discovers he can cast a strong protection spell. If you are a fan of the series, this set is a must – buy. And if you are not, it is still worth a look, even if just for the tree design. This set has so much that is good.
With so many new-for-2019 minifigures in this lineup, Harry Potter and LEGO fans will surely want to collect, build, and play with all of these sets. Fans will also really like the detail on each set that helps bring to life the moments from the movies. These look great on display but they also have a lot of playability for kids who want to imagine their own magical stories.
A little set every Harry Potter fan should get. Excellent value, great parts and excellent minifigures all in one set.
As fun as the two trees and their play feature may be, this set is effectively a glorified minifig pack with a unique animal. The Patronus stag has many potential applications in fantasy settings, but it's the potential appearance of the animal in realistic colors that has been making LEGO fans excited ever since the set was first revealed.
75945 Expecto Patronum is an essential purchase for any Harry Potter fan. The minifigure selection is great and Harry's famed stag Patronus looks absolutely magnificent. Moreover, the surrounding trees are very interesting, incorporating some unusual building techniques which result in a distinctive and remarkably effective design.
Sirius Black is a must-have for those collecting every character and the Dementors and Patronus are also great renditions, but, for the price, there's still not a lot of value to be had. Under scrutiny, it's only Sirius and the Patronus that are truly exclusive to this set, which compares poorly with every other LEGO Harry Potter set, and is verging on LEGO Star Wars' territory of check-out-this-new-minifigure-and-nothing-much-else-for-all-your-money.
