I buy all of the Harry Potter sets indiscriminately because I am a huge fan of the books. This one was unexpectedly charming. I love the blue coloring and the Beauxbatons uniforms! There are much better play features than expected - the second floor gives a great sleeping area for figures, as well as a little tea party scene. Yule Ball Hagrid figure pairs nicely with the clocktower, and I like to have Yule Ball Hermione arrive at Hogwarts in this beautiful carriage. Lots of fun possibilities to create Goblet of Fire scenes!

LEGO has generally focused upon consistent subjects when designing Harry Potter sets and 75958 Beauxbatons' Carriage: Arrival at Hogwarts therefore stands out. This model seems suitably elegant and its bright light blue colour scheme looks magnificent, accurately replicating the onscreen vehicle. The broad selection of pieces which have not appeared in this colour before is appealing too.
Its price is not on the low side, especially considering the other price points of similar sized sets within the Harry Potter theme, which may put a lot of collectors off. It is certainly a set worth owning, it's just a question of whether to get it now or wait for a reduction in price later down the line.
There are many things that make this set appealing: great colours, four exclusive minifigures, two Pegasus, a cool build and a lot of potential to use the bricks in your own builds. My biggest issue is the price: £44.99 / $49.99 / 49.99€ for 412 pieces it isn't cheap, but once you can get a good deal I think the Beauxbatons' Carriage is worth it.
