I bought this the day it was available. It's a great set with a cool Quinjet that shoots multiple missiles at once. And includes Captain Marvel, Fury, a Skrull, and Goose (formerly Chewie in the comics). It comes in 3 separate bags with clear instructions, and 1 page of stickers. It was fun to assemble and was relatively straightforward with no problems along the way with instructions. I only wish there were more LEGO sets for the film, as I'd buy them all!
Overall, this was a very satisfying build, with enough interesting techniques tucked into it to make it interesting, as well as a good tutorial in these SNOT techniques.
I enjoyed the building and playing experience along with my other official LEGO Marvel sets. It integrates well apart from the slight design flaw on the MLRS, cockpit cover and weak connection of the rocket booster engine. The exterior design is adequately and worthy to be in my display for sometimes.
As a set it's solid and stout… and that extends to the whole set. I'm not going to knock off points on this set because it's the only one we're going to get (unfortunately), and even with the “I wish this was…" on the minifigs, you still get a lot of value in what amounts to the bottom range for sets.
Excellent Lego product, as always. No more TOYSRUS™️, I must find new ways to purchase fast selling Lego Sets.
I think this set is alright, but not really a standout in my opinion. The build is good but a little bit small, and it's a bit disappointing that there's only one proper space for a minifigure.
I'm almost glad that the LEGO Group only decided to do one set for Captain Marvel as we really don't know what to expect from the film, but I wish there had been a few things changed with this model to make it a worthy single set.
Marvel Super Heroes was among the most enjoyable themes during 2018 and 76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack definitely maintains that high standard. This rendition of the Quinjet is relatively small but includes considerable detail and I love its distinctive angular design, contrasting with earlier Quinjet models that appear more streamlined. Moreover, the model feels sturdy and the missile pods are thoroughly enjoyable.
I've built all the other minifigure-scale Quinjets and although this isn't my favourite version of the craft, I do like how it look more like the very first LEGO Quinjet, making it feel a little more old-school and in keeping with the era the movie is set within the MCU. From the brief appearance of the Quinjet in the trailers, it looks like a faithful recreation, especially in terms of colours. The minifigures are a decent selection, although it would of been nice to see Captain Marvel in her Starforce outfit, as we'll most likely be getting the version included here in one of the Avengers Endgame sets.
