Comanche Camp

This is an awesome addition to our growing Lone Ranger Lego collection. I started buying the sets when they first came out but thought they would be around longer than they were. I have the 3 large sets left to buy so our daughter will have them all. I would recommend these to anyone who is a fan of the old TV show or the new movie. more less

The set has a lot of play possibilities for the target age range -- in and out of the teepee, padding the canoe, ejecting the scorpions and so on -- and also looks good on display for those of us less inclined to play with our finished models. The minifigs are, once again, superb. For the minifig collector who's most likely going to buy all of the sets, it is perhaps a shame that the Lone Ranger is the same in most of them, but other than that I can't really think of anything negative to say about this set. more less

To be honest, I wish pretty much all of the pieces of the scorpion pit would have been put into making us a better tipi. While the set as a whole has quite nice value, coming in $20 and a variety of pieces, including some nice dark tan slopes. What it is missing is a horse or two, which would be far more in place at a Comanche camp, or better yet, a bigger tipi (those things are a lot bigger than you'd think). But you get the canoe, and that alone made me want the set. more less
