There wasn't much to build, and the grade was automatically inflated because this was a freebie. But, as far as freebies go, it is a good one! I love getting Minifigures. My only complaint is the stumpy legs. I wish this character had come with the new, medium sized legs that can bend.

Overall, the LEGO Seasonal Chicken Skater Pod (853958) is a pretty neat item and it's nice to see LEGO expanding on the usage of the pods. The main thing people will be looking forward to is the new chicken minifigure.

I expect most people will be solely interested in the minifig included in this set, and it's quite nice. The bunny is suitably cute as well. Considering the space is so limited, the designer has managed to fit quite a bit of detail in the little nature scene on one side of the pod. Having the set in the pod makes it quite portable and is ideal for a child to carry around to keep themselves occupied.
