Winter Village Post Office

Unlike other sets I've reviewed, I do think I got my money's worth with the Post Office: it's reflected in the selection of parts, particularly with all the dark green elements and various sized and coloured tiles. The set itself makes an excellent wintery display on its own, but imagine what it would be like with the Toy Workshop and the Bakery combined. The highlight of the set for me is easily the new minifigure prints - along with the S5 Snowboarder's torso and the bright green one in the City Advent Calendar, we could use more designs. My 10yr old daughter received this set for Christmas. I wasn't sure if it would be too difficult, or if she'd actually sustain interest long enough to complete it. No need to worry, this was probably the best Christmas present ever. She worked on it off and on throughout the vacation, had a few moments of frustration but worked it all out on her own. (She did get stuck near the end because it was missing several pieces. Ordering the pieces was no problem from Lego direct, but it did take two weeks to receive them.) She finally finished it last week and it's absolutely adorable!!! The attention to detail is amazing! She already wants other sets in the collection. I envision she will build on in time and it will be something she will keep and use for her own Christmas decorations when she's older. Great set, highly recommend for kids or adults! more less

This set has a vintage look to it that matches the rest of the LEGO Winter Village buildings. This LEGO Post Office works best with other sets such as the LEGO Winter Village Market and LEGO Winter Toy Shop, but also works with other city buildings as well. As a whole, this set is fairly playable and offers a lot of stunning details. more less
