True North Bricks

Even though the set is based on the upcoming film, there is a huge nostalgia factor. It reminds me of my ECTO-1 toy from when I was a kid. However, I can see the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 (10274) not being for everyone. With that said, the set is extremely detailed and makes a great display piece. Additionally, the value is awesome. The price seems high, but you get a lot of bricks and build time for that price. I love this set, and any Ghostbusters fan will too.

This build was an absolute blast. I'm a big fan of the franchise, so getting this set early was extremely exciting for me! It's now proudly on display in the living room of the house. I have absolutely no doubt that this set will sell like hotcakes, so get in quick while you can.

ECTO-1 is such an iconic vehicle that it seems only right for the LEGO Group to finally give fans a version at this scale. We've waited a long time, but it's certainly been worth it. This is a set that encapsulates all that is good about the LEGO experience – it's a build that is deep, involved, unique and satisfying. It produces a finished model that looks absolutely incredible, accurate to its on screen counterpart, even when it comes to functionality.

I don't know if Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be any good, but in the end, that doesn't really need to impact my views on this set. This is a superb rendition of the ECTO-1. Instantly recognizable, full of great details, and sporting a fair number of interesting functions and features. There are a good variety of parts, including those sweet new windscreen and steering wheel molds, and some fun prints.
