I supervised while my nephew put this together, but I did not have to intervene. The instructions were made for this age group to be able to follow. This was the first experience of this type for my nephew, so he may have taken a little longer than others would. But the finished product looks great!

Before this, my 5yo son only had a lego classics set. He still plays with it and spends a long time with it. Now with this addition he is able to play with his favorite character, Spiderman. Also it comes with a couple of really cool vehicles and he loves them! Being a "Juniors" set it is super easy to build and follow the instructions. The kids won't have any trouble following the guide. Since this is the first Juniors set I buy, I was afraid that the pieces wouldn't be compatible with the other lego sets but after researching I realized they are. Now my son is able to expand his Spiderman set with other pieces from the Lego Classic set, which will add much more fun! I just wish Lego sets were more affordable...

Both Loki and Iron Man feature very crisp designs, and to me, I really liked seeing Loki again in a LEGO set after a 4 year absence. Personally, I would've liked an updated Loki minifigure as I already have like 4 of him, but I can understand the appeal for new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes fans who missed out on him previously and refuse to be held to ransom on the secondary market.
