I purchased this in the summer of 2019 but I'm writing a review now. The Maria Hill is all reused pieces but they all work well, Spider man has a new face that little kids will like but I can appreciate an exclusive minifigure so I'm not complaining, and Ned is one of the best Spider Man Minifigures ever! It has a perfect torso, face, and hair and the legs are good. The drone is decent but why didn't LEGO bring the drones back from 76130 and the museum items are nice add ons. Not good builds but who actually bought this for the builds? Great minifigures and overall B+ set.
On the whole, I think this minifigure pack is mediocre. The Spider-Man minifigure will be a big draw for the fans who don't have an MCU Spider-Man minifigure yet, and the Ned minifigure is bound to please LEGO Spider-Man collectors. However, the utterly lazy Maria Hill figure design and the lack of a fourth minifigure are huge letdowns for a minifigure pack.
This is a really expensive (for what you're getting) set, and really aimed at hardcore Marvel fans who must collect every single new minifigure, or character variant, or for the cash-strapped parent who wants to get a new Spider-Man minifigure pack for their kid, without having to splash out on the set.
41043 Spider-Man and the Museum Break In contains a beautiful version of Spider-Man, along with that exclusive head piece, and two exclusive minifigures. Maria Hill is rather uninspiring and perhaps the set would have been more attractive if she was replaced with a villain for Spidey to battle against. It's potentially priced a little too high for what it is, but most LEGO Marvel fans will surely be tempted by the opportunity to add Ned to their collection.
40343 Spider-Man and the Museum Break-In comes with an excellent selection of minifigures and is therefore an enticing pack. This version of Spider-Man has appeared previously but is only otherwise available in 76130 Stark Jet and the Drone Attack at the moment while Ned is entirely new and I think he looks great, despite reusing some pieces.
It's a decent enough set, with Ned and that unique Spider-Man head being particular draws for collectors. The same could also be said for Maria, it's just a shame she looks so generic. The buildable bits really don't add much to the set, I'd rather Nick Fury or another one of Peter's classmates were included in their place.
