This large and detailed construction set makes a wonderful finale to the LEGO Elves storyline. It will be one that every LEGO Elves fan will want to add to their collections so that they can play out the final scene of Emily Jones' adventure in Elvendale.

It is a bit sad, actually, but I have not really sat down and played with legos in probably close to a decade now. Alas, no, it was not for me that this was purchased but rather, for my baby sister. It was her 9th birthday, gift. I do not know how much value there is in the endorsement of a 9 year old, but this LEGO Elves box, got it. My sister build the thing twice, and played with her friends and other lego elves builds as well as random ones she built with my mismatched old legos. Apparently there is an actual story behind these legos, and these girls know it, and they are acting it out with their lego characters, and then making up brand new stories of their own. After a few weeks, when all her friends had fun with it, she took it apart again and started using the pieces with all her other legos to build her own castles. Seeing how much fun she has been getting from this set, and probably will continue getting for as long as she plays with LEGOs, makes it certainly worth 5 stars.
